Scanning Services
Individual Machine Scans
These offer a choice of three levels of scan, Low Resolution, Medium Resolution and High Resolution scans. These are at 72dpi in sRGB profile.
They require post production work, including resizing within the parameters of the file to produce prints, but offer a cost effective of digitising film.
Imacon Scans
These offer CCD scans in either 8 or 16 bit depth with a quality rivalling traditional drum scans. The Imacon handles all film formats up to 5x4.
Scans are saved at 300dpi and in Adobe '98.
Flatbed Scans
These are available from artwork or old photographs. The Microtek 9800XL can scan images up to 11 1/2" x 16 1/2" and file sizes up to 400mb. Scans are saved at 300dpi and in Adobe '98.
